The EGO downpipe for VAG 1.8-2.0TSI engines from HG-Motorsport is a direct replacement for the stock part. Perfect fit and high-quality materials make this a top product in our range. Optimized diameter, pipe routing, and/or catalytic converter design significantly reduces stress on the turbocharger.

The EGO downpipe features a single-piece casting process, with the entire upper and lower sections up to the flex pipe.
After the 84mm turbocharger outlet, the downpipe widens to a diameter of 121mm. Thanks to 3D flow analysis, it achieves maximum exhaust flow with a single casting.
Reduced backpressure and thermal relief result in a significant increase in torque, power, and improved throttle response, while simultaneously extending the downpipe's lifespan.

Technical Details:
- Upper and lower sections up to the flex pipe are made from a single piece of cast stainless steel
- After the 84mm turbo outlet, the downpipe increases to a diameter of 121mm!
