The Exhaust Suite for the G90 M5 and G99 M5 Touring brings two distinct personalities to one platform: a bespoke H-pipe, straight-through flow, and a tone that finally does justice to the S68’s potential. Engineered from dual 3” and 2.5” U.S-sourced T304L stainless steel and machined to precise tolerances, both editions begin where the factory system runs out of ideas.
The bespoke H-pipe is the centerpiece, purpose-built to smooth out the S68’s raw character into something deep, rich, and entirely rasp-free. From there, the straight-through design keeps flow unrestricted and weight to a minimum. Choose your weapon.
The Touring Edition:
For the driver who puts miles on their M5. The Touring Edition is primarily formed from 3” (with two short 2.5” sections in the rear) T304L stainless steel, built around AWE’s patented drone-canceling 180 Technology® that eliminates the frequencies responsible for highway fatigue across the entire RPM range. The result is an exhaust that sounds exceptional on a Sunday blast and doesn’t punish you on a Monday commute.
At 19 lbs lighter than stock, the Touring Edition sharpens the M5’s responses without sacrificing a single decibel of road manners. Dyno-verified gains of +11 hp and +12 lb-ft of torque at the wheels mean every drop of the hammer is backed up by real performance. This is the exhaust that checks all the boxes for the G9X.
The Track Edition:
No filters. No compromises. Full 3”. The Track Edition is the full, uncut expression of what the S68 wants to say. Stripped of the drone-canceling internals and coming in at an even more aggressive −29.5 lbs versus stock, the Track Edition is for those who like it rowdy at all times.
Note: This version is known to get rowdy (in and out of the cabin) and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Prepare yourself.
Let’s talk tips:
All tip options include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. Each tip outlet is adjustable to achieve perfect fitment within the valance via ball-and-socket joints, and the tips themselves are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.
