Our BimmerWorld E36 325i/M3 AN Power Steering Kit is a proven and reliable solution that should be mandatory on all E36 track cars. The soft line joint on the factory return hose is a notoriously common failure point on E36s, and it has the potential of dumping oil on your left front tire when it lets go. This can lead to a risky situation for you and your car. Besides being potential failure points, the factory hoses will almost always leak with age where they slip on the factory reservoir, making your engine, trailer, and garage floor an oily mess.
Our E36 3 Series AN Power Steering Kit replaces the original power steering reservoir with a custom-designed, all-aluminum baffled reservoir that relocates to your passenger strut tower (your original windshield washer tank must be deleted and a bracket fabricated). The hoses included with our kit replace the slip-on attachment with a positive-sealing AN fitting for a clean and permanent solution. No more leaks or failures!
This is a track / race solution which requires deletion of windshield washer tank, and the fabrication of a simple bracket. This solution is not intended as a street car solution.
