Front Control Arm Package, BimmerWorld Stage 3 - F22, F30, F32

A 1-2 punch! Monoball UCA bearings and camber-adjustable LCA bushings. Near-solid front upper and lower control arm bushings for F22 2-series, F30 3-series, F32 4-series (RWD models). We set about to address problems at the extreme end of traction at the racetrack. These HD control arms feature our Precision Monoball UCA bearings and Powerflex Adjustable LCA bushings.

The Problem: In street cars, the rubber bushings in F22, F30, F32 are big and soft with an open design to allow the joint to rotate in multiple axis, which is required when turning the steering wheel through its range of motion. Unfortunately, this means the bushing is compressing and then releasing and causing the tire to skip across the pavement under braking - a condition worsened once ABS is engaged.

The Solution: Our Precision Front Upper Control Arm Bearing Kit is the slam dunk solution for this problem, utilizing a fully-sealed ball joint (aka “monoball”) to give full multi-axis rotation. Since this is a true OE-quality bearing and fully sealed, this part is perfectly at home even on a performance street car and the durability and performance is perfect even in the extremes of a 24-Hour endurance race car. Adding these parts to your tracked car will make a noticeable improvement in braking and turn-entry grip.

Wishbones with Adjustable Camber: we install Powerflex adjustable inner bushings which have an eccentric mounting sleeve (similar to the factory rear eccentric adjusters). This allows you to add negative camber or make small adjustments in roll-center, without resorting to a spherical rod end. The Powerflex bushings are a premium, high-grade urethane and are more durable than an exposed rod joint such as found on tubular race arms. While camber gain is not as much as top camber plates, the lower wishbone arms (LCA) are a more street-friendly choice without the typical “spherical clunk” associated with camber plates or rod ends. You can also combine LCA and top plates for the most adjustability.

Meyle parts come with a 4-year warranty.
Powerflex bushings have a lifetime warranty.
